The newly renovated Crested Butte Hostel is such a cool place to hangout and make friends when you are not out on the trail soaking up the wildflowers, mountain views, powder runs, and Colorado sun. Our 13 room lodge is one of the most unique accommodations in Crested Butte and, unlike most hostels, all of the guest rooms are private. If you enjoy communal travel, you'll appreciate the cleanliness of our large men's/women's restrooms and showers. With the money you save preparing your own meals in our fully updated and equipped kitchen, you can rent bikes or Nordic skis and explore the easily accessible trails right out the door. If you brought your own gear, we have indoor ski and bike storage. The free town shuttle, decorated by local artists, picks up just down the street and delivers you directly to Mt. Crested Butte for more skiing, hiking or biking. If you are not up for the short walk, in the other direction, the town shuttle will bring you to Elk Avenue, Crested Butte's authentic western main street. Our shops, restaurants, and bars are filled with their own adventures - mountain gear, good food, and plenty of live music. Stop by the Public House, a modern Colorado saloon, for a Colorado raised beef burger or a Beyond Veg burger and a locally brewed Irwin Brewery beer.

When you return from your mountain adventures, curl up with a book in front of the fire in the cozy grand living room; grill and picnic in our outdoor space; or, wash your trail clothes for the next day's adventure in the adjacent Crested Butte Laundry.
